Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. "How do I talk with other schools about their student drug testing programs?"
Go to the "Administrator" section at the top of the menu bar and click on "Bulletin Board". There will be a window of other school administrator's comments. A user name and password will be asked for. Click "New Member" and follow instructions. Passwords will be emailed to you along with a link to confirm registration.
2. "What is the Administrative Toolkit?"
The Administrative Toolkit is designed to give you the tools you need to collect information, make decisions and implement a student drug testing program. This can be read online or may be printed out.
Go to the "Administrator" section at the top of the menu bar. Click "Student Drug Testing Toolkit". All of the steps for how to implement a program will be listed.
3. "What if I have a question about the website?"
Go to the "Contact Us" button and a menu will appear. There will be a choice to email a question or to fill out an exit survey. Both will be emailed to the Institute for Behavior and Health. Questions will be responded to through email.
4. "Are there restrictions set by federal agencies for surveys and random drug testing programs?"
It depends. Some programs are considered "research" and will need approval from the Institutional Review Board (a special panel in charge of protecting the rights and welfare of human participants involved in research).
